The 21-year-old France centre-back played under Mourinho at Real and has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months.

“I like Varane, but everybody knows that he will stay at Real Madrid,” Mourinho  said.

He went on to say: “France has a lot of good players like Varane, Pogba, Benzema and Lloris. They can win Euro 2016.”

Meanwhile, the Star have again linked Chelsea with a move for Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger.
