Clubs linked with Roberts and QPR tipped to move for striker Crouch

Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal want to sign Fulham youngster Patrick Roberts in January, the Daily Mirror reports.

A number of leading clubs, including those three, have been closely watching the 17-year-old for the last year or so.

And it is claimed that Fulham may find it difficult to resist a £10m offer for Roberts, who has impressed since being brought into the first team.

Meanwhile, based on comments made by Harry Redknapp and Mark Hughes after QPR’s draw with Stoke on Saturday, a number of today’s papers suggest Rangers could launch another bid to re-sign Peter Crouch.

Rangers have made several attempts to take Crouch back to Loftus Road, where he was a hugely popular figure before leaving in 2001.

The Potters striker has since played under QPR boss Redknapp at Portsmouth, Southampton and Tottenham.

Stoke boss Hughes confirmed that an enquiry was made in the summer, while Redknapp replied “you never know” when asked if Crouch might play under him again.
