More speculation over Cech’s future and West Ham are linked with Burn

Arsenal want to sign Petr Cech from Chelsea for £7m, according to The Sun on Sunday.

Liverpool and Manchester United are also said to be interested in the 32-year-old goalkeeper, who has been tipped to move during the January transfer window after losing his place to Thibaut Courtois.

It is claimed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has £20m to spend and is losing faith in Gunners keeper Wojciech Szczesny despite giving him a long-term deal.

The north London club are also said to be willing to match Cech’s current wages, reported to be £100,000 a week.

The Sun also reports that a poll of football fans shows that a clear majority believe Chelsea will win the title and that the Blues’ signings of Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas are seen as being among the best transfer deals of the summer.

And Chelsea have again been linked with Benfica’s Brazilian midfielder Anderson Talisca, this time by the Sunday Express.

Meanwhile, West Ham have been linked with Fulham’s highly-rated young defender Dan Burn.

The Daily Star Sunday say Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is keen to sign the centre-back, who has impressed this season.

The Mail on Sunday say Allardyce is considering making a £4m bid for Burn, 22, and that Fulham could try to re-sign former Whites stalwart Chris Baird on loan from West Brom.
