Chelsea may have to sell Hazard or Oscar, report claims

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho could be forced to sell Eden Hazard or Oscar in order to fund a summer spending spree, the Daily Mirror say.

Speculation over the duo’s future comes as Mourinho is tipped to offload the likes of Fernando Torres and bring in at least a couple of strikers when the transfer window reopens.

Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa and Mario Mandzukic of Bayern Munich are touted as Blues targets, with the Daily Mail and the Daily Telegraph suggesting Torres, Demba Ba, Samuel Eto’o and Romelu Lukaku will all go.

The Mail, who say Real Sociedad’s France international Antoine Griezmann, 23, is another possible target, claim Torres’ lucrative contract at Stamford Bridge means is he likely to demand £10m from Chelsea in order to move, despite apparently being told he is not in Mourinho’s plans.

And the Mirror say Uefa’s Financial Fair Play rules mean that if Mourinho is to sign the strikers he wants he may need to balance the books by parting with Hazard or Oscar.

The Mirror also say Mourinho is looking to sell David Luiz and that Everton lead the race for Lukaku despite the Belgian’s agent hinting at interest from Tottenham.
