Transfer gossip: Chelsea reportedly close to Aubameyang deal
Some of the recent transfer speculation involving Chelsea.
Chelsea are closing in on a £65m deal to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to reports.
The Daily Mirror say Chelsea are in pole position to sign Aubameyang, who has also been linked with Liverpool.
Chelsea are also said to be struggling to agree a deal with Real Madrid for Alvaro Morata, who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal want Matic, Express claim
Speculation continues over the future of Nemanja Matic.
The Express declare that the Chelsea midfielder is now wanted by Arsenal and that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been offered to the Blues by the Gunners.
The story is based on an Italian journalist claiming that the swap deal has been proposed.
Manchester United’s former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen to sign Matic, while the Daily Mail say Juventus are considering making a move for him.
Earlier this week, Corriere dello Sport suggested Inter Milan also want Matic.
The Italian publication said Inter have targeted him following reports that Chelsea are reluctant to sell him to United.
Chelsea told Inter that Matic would cost €40m (around £35.3m), it was claimed.
Nainggolan linked again
Chelsea have again been linked with Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
The Belgian was linked with Chelsea during the previous two transfer windows and, according to the Daily Mail, is still on the club’s radar.
The Mail claim Manchester United are ready to target him after being told Tottenham’s Eric Dier is not for sale, and that Chelsea could also make a move for Nainggolan, 29, despite the Blues being close to signing Monaco’s Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Hazard contacted Zidane, report claims
Spanish outlet Diario Gol say Eden Hazard has contacted Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane and told him he will not be joining the club.
It comes as the Chelsea star continues to be linked with a big-money move to Real.
Blues reportedly hold Danilo talks
The Mail also say Chelsea have held talks with Real Madrid over the prospect of signing full-back Danilo.
It comes amid reports the Premier League champions are struggling to reach an agreement with Juventus over left-back Alex Sandro.
Dembele still being touted for move
The Daily Express have picked up on yet more reports linking Chelsea with Celtic’s former Fulham forward Moussa Dembele.
The Frenchman was linked with Chelsea prior to joining Celtic despite no approach for him being made and he has continued to be touted for a move to Stamford Bridge.
It is again being claimed that Chelsea are targeting Dembele, with West Ham also linked along with Marseille.
Blues to table Morata bid – Marca
Spanish newspaper AS claim Chelsea are preparing to table a £70m bid for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
Chelsea have been tipped to move for Morata after appearing to miss out on Lukaku, who has completed a move to Manchester United.
AS say the Blues will now make an approach to sign Spain international Morata, who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for some time.
Costa speculation
The Sun have picked up on reports in Spain claiming Costa could move to Besiktas until the new year and then rejoin Atletico Madrid.
Former Atletico star Costa is reported to be keen to return to the La Liga club but they are under a transfer ban until January.
AS have claimed that Costa could therefore join Besiktas on a short-term basis.

I am suggesting morata and ballo because of the style of play at Chelsea. The 3-4-3 system adopted by Conte that earned us the league suits the afformentioned players than abumeryang. Also, Chelsea transfer team should act fast because delay is dangerous. This is to avoid hijacking of deals. blue is the colour. Victor from Nigeria

Chelsea should rush to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang before he lives for China.He’s one player in three, and with his combination and Hazard’s, they’ll hand us Champions league trophy without no adu. Chelsea board should open there eyes, why going for Sandro while we’ve Alonso /Cahill,why danilo, while we’ve moses/azplicueta. Jentle men, what we need is a killer/finisher, and i see that in Pierre.Also sign bakoyoko and treat his injury, it’s only two months.

Please tell conte to that we need a striker like Andrea baloti, bakayoko and sandro. sale coasta and keep batshuayi. tell michael emenalo that we don’t the way he’s handling this transfer. they should buy players that the coach needed and not the one they need. it’s the duty of the coach to decide whom he want and not the director. chelsea for real.

my own candid advice is that whatever negotiations Chelsea wants to do, it should do it without wasting much time. when a deal is taking long to be executed, anything can happen along the way.The perfect example is that of Romelu Lukaku,whose deal was hijacked by Manchester united.
