Victor Moses
The Chelsea winger, on loan at Stoke, has been left out of Nigeria’s squad for their forthcoming internationals with Congo and South Africa. The 23-year-old has been in good form for the Potters, scoring against West Ham on Saturday, but Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi said he did not want to push him too hard following a recent thigh injury.

Fulham
The Whites’ Under-21 side were beaten 4-0 at Sunderland on Monday afternoon. A win would have put them top of the Under-21 Premier League.

Jack Grimmer
The Fulham defender has had his loan spell at Shrewsbury Town extended until January. Grimmer, 20, has started the last five Shrews games, including their League Cup defeat against Chelsea.

Wealdstone v Hendon
The friendly due to be played at The Vale on Monday night has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

FA Trophy draw
Hendon will meet either Worthing or Chatham Town in the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy, after the draw was made on Monday. Uxbridge also have a home tie, with Bideford or Didcot the visitors, while Northwood will travel to Wimborne Town. Matches are scheduled for 15 November.

FA Vase draw
In the second round of the Vase, to be played on 22 November, Hanworth Villa will entertain Knaphill while Wembley meet Brantham Athletic.

Claude Makelele
The former Chelsea midfielder has been sacked from his first managerial job. The 41-year-old, who made 217 appearances for the Blues, took over as head coach of Ligue 1 side Bastia in the summer but has left after only 12 games, with the club in the relegation zone.
