Wealdstone are unlikely to have to face the former QPR striker when they host his current club Maidenhead on Saturday. The 32-year-old from Hammersmith, who also played for Yeading and Brentford, has been struggling with a hamstring injury.

Fulham
Whites youngster Ryan Williams has had his loan at Barnsley extended by another month. The 21-year-old winger has played four times for the Tykes in League One and will remain at Oakwell until 2 December.

Hayes & Yeading
United now have a fixture on Saturday 8 November after scheduled opponents Gosport Borough reached the first round of the FA Cup. They have filled the date by bringing forward their January visit to Chelmsford City.

Ji So-Yun has been nominated for WSL1 players’ player of the year at the FA Women’s Football Awards. The South Korean international enjoyed a fine first season with the club, scoring nine times in 19 appearances.

Karen Carney (Birmingham City), Jess Clarke (Notts County), Millie Bright (Doncaster Rovers Belles), Fran Kirby (Reading) and Beth Mead (Sunderland) are the other nominees. The awards take place at London’s Madame Tussauds on Friday 14 November.

Harlequins
Luke Wallace has been voted the club’s player of the month for October. The flanker, man of the match in the European Rugby Champions Cup win over Castres Olympique, edged out second row George Robson and fly-half Nick Evans in the poll.

LV= Cup
Harlequins have named a blend of youth and experience in their side to take on Saracens in round one of the LV= Cup on Sunday. Full-back Ross Chisholm makes his first start of the season while Karl Dickson captains the side from scrum-half. Seven of the starting forward pack are under 25, while new signing Tim Swiel is among the replacements.
