Oscar scored twice as Chelsea ended their pre-season tour of the United States with a 3-1 win against AC Milan in Minneapolis.

Bertrand Traore also found the net at the new US Bank Stadium, where Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois returned to the Blues starting line-up and summer signing N’Golo Kate came on for his debut.

Traore opened the scoring on 25 minutes by heading in the loose ball after Victor Moses’ shot had been parried by keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Courtois, whose pre-season-break was extended because of the Belgian’s involvement in the European Championship, produced a couple of first-half saves.

However, he was unable to keep out Giacomo Bonaventure’s free-kick seven minutes before the interval.

Chelsea retook control in the second half, largely thanks to the introductions of Kante, Eden Hazard and new signing Michy Batschuayi.

Oscar scored from the penalty spot after Hazard’s cross was handled by Andrea Poli.

And the Brazilian scored again with three minutes remaining, this time after being set up by Juan Cuadrado’s through ball.

Chelsea (4-2-4): Courtois; Aina (Ivanovic 59), Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Matic (Chalobah 29), Fabregas (Oscar 59); Willian (Cuadrado 79), Traore (Hazard 52), Costa (Batshuayi 59), Moses (Kante 52).
