Chelsea 3 West Brom 0

Eden Hazard scored twice as Chelsea won to move back up to fourth and ease the pressure on boss Antonio Conte.

Victor Moses also scored at Stamford Bridge, where recent signing Olivier Giroud made his full debut for the Blues.

And Giroud was involved in the opening goal, scored after 25 minutes.

Hazard exchanged passes with the Frenchman and slotted past keeper Ben Foster.

Chelsea had started poorly and were fortunate not to have a penalty awarded against them when Cesc Fabregas impeded Jay Rodriguez.

Rodriguez also wasted a great chance, shooting wide after being set up by Moses’ weak back-header.

Moses atoned by doubling the lead midway through the second half.

There was a touch of good fortune about the goal, with Moses applying the finish after Fabregas’ attempted flick towards Alvaro Morata ricocheted to the Blues wide-man.

But there was nothing fortunate about Hazard’s superb second goal.

The Belgian turned away from his man and fired home from near the edge of the penalty area.
