Transfer gossip: Chelsea plan to sell trio, reports in Spain claim

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea plan to sell Eden Hazard, Oscar and Nemanja Matic to fund a move for Cristiano Ronaldo, reports in Spain claim.

Madrid-based newspaper AS believes Blues owner Roman Abramovich wants to break the world transfer record for Real Madrid’s former Manchester United star.

The Daily Mirror suggests Real Madrid may look to sign Hazard as a replacement, with Oscar and Matic also tipped to leave.

The Daily Mail claims Paris St-Germain are also interested in Hazard but would have to pay at least £80m to sign him.

The same newspaper also believes Chelsea will make another bid for Everton defender John Stones in January, and may recall striker Patrick Bamford from his unsuccessful loan spell at Crystal Palace.

Bamford, 22, has made only three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Eagles and the Mail suggests Middlesbrough would be interested in signing him again if the loan is terminated early.

Meanwhile, reports in Italy claim Inter Milan are interested in signing Branislav Ivanovic on a free transfer next summer, if he doesn’t agree a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

And ESPN says Chelsea have made no contact with Bayer Leverkusen about Javier Hernandez despite being linked with the former Manchester United striker.
