Oscar ‘will not be leaving Chelsea’

Kia Joorabchian, who acts as an adviser to Oscar, has told the Italian media there is no prospect of the player leaving Chelsea to join Juventus.

The Brazilian signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge last November and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that Oscar, 23, will not be leaving.

Nevertheless, there has been speculation that the Blues might listen to offers and that they could be interested in a swap involving Juve’s former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

“It’s completely impossible and there is no truth to it at all – Oscar will not be leaving Chelsea,” Joorabchian said.

In April Mourinho dismissed reports that Oscar could be sold this summer.

Mourinho said: “He’s a boy of 23 who Chelsea bought when he was a kid and is in the best period of his career. Obviously we don’t want to sell.”
