New loan deal for Chelsea youngster

Chelsea defender Alex Davey has had his loan at Peterborough United extended until 2 January.

The 20-year-old has started each of the League One club’s seven games so far this season.

It is his second spell in the division, following 13 matches for Scunthorpe in 2014-15.

Davey, a Scotland Under-19 international, is yet to appear in the first-team squad for Chelsea but has played in the Uefa Youth League.
