Mourinho has faith in Drogba and Remy

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is confident either Didier Drogba or Loic Remy will fill the gap caused by Diego Costa’s absence when his side face Tottenham on Wednesday.

Costa has scored 11 goals this season, playing a key role in the Blues’ unbeaten start.

But he will not face Spurs as he is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the campaign in the 0-0 draw with Sunderland.

Mourinho said: “No problem. We don’t cry about the injured players or suspended players.

“If he’s suspended, he’s suspended. He can rest and can be fresh against Newcastle. Against Tottenham, Drogba and Remy will have their opportunity to start.”
