Kenedy earmarked for attacking role
Jose Mourinho insists he sees Kenedy very much as an attacking player despite deploying him at left-back against Norwich.
Kenedy made his first Premier League start for Chelsea, who picked up a much-needed win at Stamford Bridge courtesy of Diego Costa’s second-half goal.
And Blues boss Mourinho explained that the 19-year-old Brazilian was given orders to attack and that his position depended partly on how Norwich were set up for the game.
“He’s an attacking player. He was playing in a position that was not so much a left-back,” Mourinho said.
“We were ready for them to play with four at the back, but also ready for them to play with five like they did against Manchester City.
“If they played with five, I wanted us to play with three at the back with Kenedy as a winger.
“In the end he played as an aggressive full-back going forward.”

u ppl have said alot,,,to me mou should have confidence on our youth,,,bertrand can strike but mou is a coach wu dont care about carrier dats why he sell our future player any how…issue about baba,he need time and mou should have confidence in him,,,rubben loft,kenedy,

A DESERVED WIN AGAINST NORWISH BUT CHELSEA SHOULD NOT RELY ON ONE GOAL LEAD BECAUSE WE DONT HAVE A GOOD KEEPER TO TAKE US TROUGH. BEGOVIC ALWAYS CONCEDE GOALS IN MOST MATCHES EVEN WHEN HE WAS IN STOKE. AGAINST TOTENHAM IS GOING TO BE A DIFEERENT BALL GAME. THANK YOU

Kennedy played vry well against norwich. All players gave their best,but problm was with midfield. Ramires should be deployed alongside Matic and cesc to play d number 10 role, Remy should be played regularly..
He is even better than Diego costa.

We need Ruben Loftus, Bertrand and Baba in the team. Now every team in EPL are using the youth except Chelsea….How can we win with our youth sitting on the bench and we still see Ivanovic n co still playing. From GHana

The problem with Chelsea this season is not players,but our goal keeper begovi.whenever he play we will lose,he’s curse goalkeeper.so mou,if want to keep your job stop using this guy.You can use third goalkeeper since courtois is not yet fully recover. gonna see d result for yourself.

Chelsea played very well against Norwich city.. de young Kennedy was amazing. . if this kid can be deployed to the right wing.. with his skills and pace he can do many tins for Chelsea

mou pls do started to give youth chance to develop without mistake they can not develop. Bertrand, Baba,Kennedy, Lofty ,Thomas,Kakuta, Choloban,feruz,Thogan,Pantacil,and the rest .pls do not take us backward. you cry4 not having youths team b4 now develop them.concerned. Chelsea fan from Nigeria.txs
