Lampard definitely staying, says boss

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has again insisted there is no prospect of Frank Lampard leaving during the transfer window.

The England midfielder continues to be linked with a move from the club, but Villas-Boas says he will definitely still be at Stamford Bridge come February.

“He’s going to be here for sure,” said the Blues boss, who added that Lampard is in his long-term plans.

Lampard, 33, has 18 months of his contract left to run and has stated that he intends to remain with the club.
