Hiddink rules out Kenedy loan move

Kenedy of Chelsea

Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has insisted there is no prospect of Kenedy leaving on loan.

A number of clubs have shown an interest in the 19-year-old Brazilian, with Italian media reports suggesting that Fiorentina are keen to land him.

“Some youngsters I now happen to know better and have a good impression of,” said Hiddink.

“He is one of those youngsters who at the moment will stay until the end of the season. We might need him or give him a chance to gain more experience.

“They (young players) get a lot of experience on a daily basis in training with experienced players. He will stay here until at least the end of the season.”

Kennedy came on as a second-half substitute in Sunday’s FA Cup win against Scunthorpe – his ninth first-team appearance since joining the Blues during the summer.

He scored his first goal for the club in the 4-1 League Cup win at Walsall in September.

Meanwhile, Diego Costa has declared himself fit for Wednesday’s game against West Brom and Loic Remy has returned to training following a recent injury.
