Chelsea trialist features in Under-21 game

Trialist Yasin Ben El-Mhanni featured again as Chelsea’s youngsters drew 0-0 at home to Everton in the Under-21 Premier League.

West London-born El-Mhanni, a 20-year-old forward or winger who plays for non-League Lewes, recently played – and scored – for Chelsea’s Under-21s in a match against Middlesbrough.

There were few opportunities created against an Everton side who defended well, although Tammy Abraham, Jay Dasilva and Ola Aina went close for Chelsea.

Goalkeeper Nathan Baxter, who has been a regular for the Blues’ Under-18 team, made his debut at Under-21 level.
