Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado has re-joined Juventus on a three-year loan deal.

Under the agreement, Juventus say they will pay Chelsea around £4.25m each year, and have the option of paying about £21.2m to make the deal permanent.

Cuadrado has played only 15 times for the Blues since he arrived in February 2015.

He was sent out on loan to Juventus last season and scored five times in 40 appearances, helping them to the Serie A title and the last 16 of the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Christian Atsu has completed his loan move to Newcastle.

The Ghana international, 24, has previously had spells with Vitesse, Everton, Bournemouth and Malaga.

Youngsters Christian Cuevas, Dion Conroy and Nathan Baxter were also loaned out on transfer deadline day.

Cuevas, 21, rejoined Belgian side Sint-Truidense on loan for the rest of the season, having also spent last term with them.

Conroy, 20, will be with National League side Aldershot Town until 15 January, while goalkeeper Baxter, 17, an FA Youth Cup winner last season, has signed for Ryman Premier Division side Met Police.
