Chelsea’s youngsters draw with United

Andreas Christensen equalised for Chelsea’s youngsters as they drew 1-1 with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in the Under-21 Premier League.

The young Blues went behind after United were awarded a penalty only 20 seconds into the second half when Ola Aina was very harshly adjudged to have handled.

Will Keane, who was on loan at QPR last season, converted the spot-kick but Chelsea responded well to the setback.

They levelled when Christensen headed home Lewis Baker’s corner – and they had chances to win the game.

Dominic Solanke fired just wide of the United post and Baker saw a free-kick superbly saved.

Another opportunity then fell Chelsea’s way, this time to Jordan Houghton, who headed over.
