Chelsea Under-18s beat Brighton

Chelsea’s Under-18s returned to winning ways by coming from behind to beat Brighton 2-1 at Cobham.

The young Blues, whose fine start to the season was ended by their first defeat, against West Ham last time out, went behind to Jordan Maguire-Drew’s cool finish eight minutes before half-time.

But they responded in the second half with goals from Isaac Christie-Davies – who was previously on Brighton’s books – and Josh Grant to secure a deserved victory.

Ike Ugbo almost levelled for the hosts before setting up Christie-Davies, who fired into the bottom corner, before skipper Grant headed in the winner.
