Chelsea’s Under-18s win at Tottenham

Mukhtar Ali scored twice for Chelsea’s Under-18s as they won 4-3 at Tottenham.

There were also goals for Isaac Christie-Davies and Ike Ugbo in a deserved victory for the young Blues.

Ali hit the bar with a free-kick and then put the visitors ahead with a tidy finish after being set up by Christie-Davies.

Ryan Loft’s goal against the run of play meant Spurs were level at the interval – and they went ahead in the opening minute of an action-packed second half courtesy of Charlie Owens’ free-kick.

But Chelsea hit back, with Christie-Davies equalising following good work on the left by Charlie Wakefield before Ali fired home his second goal.

Ugbo pounced on a defensive mix-up to make it 4-2 and Loft then pulled a goal back for Spurs from the penalty spot.
