Chelsea and Everton fined for fracas

The Football Association have fined Chelsea and Everton £30,000 for failing to control their players during their Premier League match on 11 February.

Following a challenge on Willian by Everton’s Gareth Barry, Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanovic appeared to wrap his arm around Everton midfielder James McCarthy’s neck.

Both clubs admitted the charge and were also warned as to their future conduct. Chelsea were also charged for surrounding referee Jonathan Moss.
