Transfer gossip: Chelsea plan to keep Morata and Bakayoko, Telegraph say

The Daily Telegraph say Chelsea will turn down offers for Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer unless they want to leave.

Chelsea are “determined to learn from the lessons of casting Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah aside too soon,” the Telegraph reckon.

Morata and particularly Bakayoko have struggled at times since moving to Chelsea last summer and have been linked with various clubs.

Spanish newspaper AS recently claimed Bayern Munich have lined up Morata as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who has been linked with a move from the German outfit to Real Madrid.

The Express meanwhile, have linked former Real striker Morata with a possible return to the Spanish side, while another of his former clubs, Juventus, have also been linked with him. 


Portuguese winger linked 

Chelsea are among clubs interested in Sporting Lisbon’s Portugal winger Gelson Martins, it is claimed.

The Daily Mirror have picked up on reports in the Portuguese media claiming that Chelsea are looking at the 22-year old along with Manchester City and Tottenham.

Borussia Dortmund are also said to have shown an interest amid reports Martins could be sold this summer.


Kurzawa also linked

Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa has also been linked with Chelsea.

The Mirror say the Blues are keen on Kurzawa and that he is also wanted by Tottenham and Manchester United.

The Mirror claim Chelsea have identified him as a potential signing because they are resigned to missing out on Juventus’ Alex Sandro, who was previously tipped to move to Stamford Bridge.


Blues still being linked with Seri

Chelsea continue to be linked with Ivory Coast international Jean Michael Seri.

The Mirror claim Chelsea have lined up a £35m bid for the Nice midfielder, who has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs.


Abramovic wants Golovin, reports in Russia say

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich wants the club to sign CSKA Moscow midfielder Alexander Golovin, it is claimed.

The Express have picked up on a story by Russian outlet Sport24 suggesting that Abramovich is keen to take the youngster to the Bridge.

It is claimed that Golovin, 21, is likely to sign for Chelsea and then join Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem on loan.


Sun reckon Chelsea want Masuaku

Chelsea want West Ham wide-man Arthur Masuaku, The Sun claim.

The Sun has recently linked Tottenham with Masuaku and now it is claimed that both Spurs and Chelsea are lining up £20m bids.

He is among a host of left-sided players to have been linked with Chelsea, who signed Emerson Palmieri in January as back-up for Marcos Alonso.


Speculation over Kenedy

Arsenal and Tottenham are among several clubs being linked with Kenedy.

It comes after Sky reported that Bayern Munich, Paris St-Germain and a number of Premier League clubs are interested in the Brazilian wide-man, who has impressed while on loan at Newcastle from Chelsea and has been linked with a possible permanent move to Tyneside.

Sky believe that clubs have asked to be kept informed should Chelsea be willing to sell him this summer. 

ESPN in his native Brazil have duly claimed that Arsenal are showing an interest, while the Northern Echo reckon Spurs are keeping an eye on him. 


Clubs reportedly want Taylor-Crossdale

Chelsea youngster Martell Taylor-Crossdale is wanted by Charlton and Fleetwood, again according to the Daily Mail.

The 18-year-old striker has scored 20 goals this season, having got 22 last term, and a number of EFL clubs have shown an interest.

The Mail claim Chelsea are “facing a fight” to keep Taylor-Crossdale and that League One clubs Charlton and Fleetwood are leading a chase to sign him.


Richarlison still being touted for move

Richarlison continues to be touted for a possible move to Chelsea.

The Brazilian’s representatives tried to secure him a move to Chelsea prior to him joining Watford from Fluminense last summer, and he was duly linked with the Blues.

He has continued to be linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge amid reports he could leave Watford this summer – and Sky reckon Chelsea are interested along with Manchester United and Everton.

He has four years remaining on his contract and Sky say Watford would want arund £40m for him.
