Antonio Conte says there is little prospect of Chelsea recalling any players currently out on loan this month.

Chelsea recalled Nathan Ake from Bournemouth during last January’s transfer window because Blues boss Conte wanted to assess the Dutchman, who was later sold to the Cherries.

There were also early returns for Charly Musonda and Kenedy.

However, Conte says he does not expect a repeat this time around.

“I don’t think this could be realistic,” said the Italian.

“The players that went on loan, they are playing and I don’t see a possibility to come back.

“Ake, Musonda and Kenedy came back in January to improve our squad. But in this transfer window, I don’t know.”

Chelsea have a host of players out on loan this season, including the likes of Kurt Zouma at Stoke, Ruben Loftus-Cheek at Crystal Palace and Tammy Abraham at Swansea City.
