Transfer gossip: Chelsea again linked with Shaw

Some of the recent transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea have again been linked with Manchester United’s Luke Shaw.

It comes after United’s former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho criticised the left-back following an FA Cup win against Brighton.

The Daily Star has therefore declared that Shaw is wanted by the Blues and Tottenham and is set to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Leicester and Shaw’s former club Southampton are also said to be interested in the 22-year-old, who was targeted by Chelsea prior to his move to United in 2014.

Ramsey also linked

The Daily Mirror claim Chelsea are monitoring Aaron Ramsey’s situation at Arsenal ahead of a possible move for the midfielder.

Ramsey’s contract at the Emirates Stadium is due to expire next year and he has yet to agree a new deal.

That has led to speculation over his future and the Mirror claim Chelsea are interested in a potential deal to sign him.

Speculation over Hazard continues

There continues to be speculation over the future of Eden Hazard.

The Mirror say Chelsea fear Hazard will leave this summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League and that he is being pursued by Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain.

The Daily Telegraph recently claimed Chelsea players fear boss Antonio Conte’s defensive tactics could push Hazard towards leaving the club.

And the Daily Mail claimed Hazard is stalling over signing a new contract at Stamford Bridge and will look to leave if Real show serious interest.

Sun claim Chelsea are eyeing Asamoah

The Sun say Chelsea are looking to sign Juventus left-back Kwadwo Asamoah.

The Ghana international’s contract expires at the end of the season and The Sun claim Chelsea want to pick him up on a free transfer.
Napoli and Inter Milan are also said to be interested in the 29-year-old.

He has been competing for a place at Juve with Alex Sandro, who has also been linked with Chelsea.
