Jose Mourinho returns to Stamford Bridge on Sunday and his Manchester United side are likely to try and frustrate the Blues in the same way they did Liverpool at Anfield on Monday.

That was another Mourinho tacitical masterclass and you sensed nullifying Liverpool’s attacking threat gave him plenty of satisfaction.

The former Chelsea boss managed Inter Milan to success at the Bridge in the Champions League back in March 2010, but it will still be an emotional occasion for him.

Chelsea are unbeaten in their last seven games in the league against United and they have never gone eight against them without defeat in their history.

The Blues were good against the champions Leicester City last weekend but boss Antonio Conte will know United will present a more serious challenge.

Chelsea are 23/10 to win, with the draw 12/5 and a United win at 27/10 with BetVictor.

The first goal is always important but you sense even more so in Sunday’s clash.

Costa has scored seven times in the opening eight league games so far this term and is 9/2 to end the season as the division’s top scorer, 19/5 to open the scoring at the weekend, and 23/20 to find the back of David De Gea’s net in the 90 minutes.

Incidentally, United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who swept into the Premier League on a sea of goals, has failed to find the net with his last 26 attempts.

We launched our new free-to-play Golden Goal earlier in the week and you can win £100,000 with BetVictor this weekend by correctly predicting the time and name of the first goalscorer in the Sunday’s game.

Costa has been the most popular prediction in the early part of the week but remember you’ve got to get the minute right as well.
