Antonio Conte has reiterated that he is happy to stay at Chelsea – but refused to comment on whether he is happy with the club’s transfer policy.

Amid continued speculation over his future as Blues boss, the Italian has repeatedly remarked that he does not decide which players come and go.

Asked at a media conference on Friday if he is happy with the situation, Conte replied: “I think this is normal. But at the same time I don’t want to discuss it with you.”

There have been reports that Chelsea could replace Conte at the end of the season, when he will still have a year of his contract at Stamford Bridge left to run.

Asked if is happy at the club and planning beyond this summer, he said: “Nothing has changed. There was the summer and then after the summer. Nothing has changed.

“Yes I am happy to work with my players, happy to work for this club and happy to try every day to put all of myself for his job.”

Meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois, Alvaro Morata and Willian are unavailable for Sunday’s FA Cup tie against Newcastle.
