Cole joins Roma on a two-year contract

Ashley Cole has completed his move to Roma, signing a two-year deal with the Italian club.

The 33-year-old former England left-back was a free agent, having left Chelsea this summer at the end of his contract.

He spent eight years at Stamford Bridge, helping the Blues win the Premier League title in 2010 as well as the 2012 Champions League.

Cole, signed from Arsenal in 2006, also won four FA Cups during his time at Chelsea as well as the League Cup and the Europa League.
