Chelsea youngsters thrash Sheffield Wednesday to reach quarter-finals

Holders Chelsea eased into the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup by beating Sheffield Wednesday 4-0.

Trevoh Chalobah, Ike Ugbo (pictured), Mason Mount and Callum Hudson-Odoi scored the goals in a one-sided game at Aldershot.

Chalobah opened the scoring on 13 minutes with a cracking volley following Hudson-Odoi’s cross.

Chalobah was also involved in the build up to the second goal, scored by Ugbo five minutes before half-time – a header from Dujon Sterling’s cross.

Mount, who earlier hit the bar, fired into the bottom corner to make it 3-0.

And Hudson-Odoi raced through to slot home the fourth in injury time.

Chelsea will be away to Leicester or Middlesborough in the next round.
