Chelsea youngsters fight back to win against City

Martell Taylor-Crossdale scored twice and Harvey St Clair netted a last-minute winner as Chelsea’s development side pulled off an incredible comeback to beat Manchester City 3-2 after being two down.

The visitors led at 2-0 half-time at Aldershot’s Recreation Ground after goals from Lorenzo Gonzalez and Benjamin Garre.

Chelsea seemed to be heading for defeat but scored three times in the final 15 minutes.

Taylor-Crossdale, on as a substitute, pulled a goal back after being set up by Josh Grant.

The striker then equalised by pouncing on the loose ball to score after keeper Leonardo Sokol’s challenge on Trevoh Chalobah – Taylor-Crossdale’s 13th goal of the season.

And St Clair’s cracking strike into the top corner clinched a victory which took Chelsea above City in the Premier League 2 table.
