Chelsea youngsters beat German side in friendly

Chelsea’s development side beat German team FC Nurnberg 2-0 in a friendly on Monday.

Ecuadorian midfielder Josi Quintero and England Under-18 international Tariq Uwakwe (pictured above) scored the goals in the match at the Blues’ Cobham training ground.

Chelsea’s Under-23s will return to Premier League 2 action with a game against Manchester United at Aldershot on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, their match against Arsenal, originally scheduled to be played at Boreham Wood FC, will now take place at the Gunners’ training ground on Friday 27 January.
