Moses signs new Chelsea deal and joins West Ham on loan

Victor Moses has signed a new four-year deal with Chelsea, but will spend the rest of this season on loan at West Ham.

The 24-year-old winger has been unable to establish himself in the Blues first team since arriving in 2012, but his extended contract ends rumours of a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge.

The move to West Ham is his third loan spell, having also played for Liverpool and Stoke.

Moses has made 44 appearances for Chelsea, all bar one of those coming in his first season at the club after moving from Wigan.

He also played the last eight minutes of this year’s Community Shield defeat to Arsenal.
