Chelsea recall pair from Reading

Chelsea have recalled loanees Lucas Piazon and Michael Hector from Reading to train with the first-team squad for the rest of the season.

Piazon, 22, signed for Chelsea in August 2011, winning the FA Youth Cup in his first season and making his first-team debut in the following campaign.

The Brazilian had loan spells with Malaga, Vitesse and Eintracht Frankfurt and has scored five times in 27 games for Reading.

Centre-back Hector, 23, joined the Blues on transfer deadline day in September and was immediately loaned back to the Royals.

He has made 35 appearances for the Championship club this season, scoring twice.

Neither will be eligible for Chelsea’s remaining Premier League games.
