Moses targets victory at West Ham

Victor Moses says he is enjoying his time at Chelsea having finally becoming a first-team regular, more than four years after joining the club.

Moses was signed in the summer of 2012 but, after failing to nail down a place in his first season, spent spells on loan at Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham.

The arrival of Antonio Conte as Chelsea boss this summer has transformed not only the club’s fortunes, but also his own.

Moses impressed in pre-season and eventually made the right wing-back spot his own, making himself a hero with what proved to be the winning goal against Tottenham in November.

And the Nigerian told Chelsea’s website he is relishing his second chance at Stamford Bridge.

“I’ve always wanted to play for this big club,” he said.

“It’s one of the best clubs in the world at the moment and I’m enjoying every single minute.

“I just want to keep on working hard and helping my team-mates out.”

Moses played 26 times for the Hammers last season and will face them next Monday night the Blues make the trip across London.

He said: “I had a great time there last season, it’s a nice memory, but now I’m a Chelsea player and I’m enjoying my football.

“I can’t wait to go to the London Stadium and hopefully we’ll get three points.

“We’re not looking at the table at the moment. We still have 12 matches to play and we just need to take each game as it comes.

“We just want to stay grounded and win as many games as we can between now and the end of the season.

“We’re going to stay focused and keep working hard together as a team, as everyone can see we’re doing.”
