Chelsea keeper Courtois a doubt for Everton match

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is a doubt for Saturday’s game against Everton because of a knee problem.

The Belgian, 23, played in his country’s Euro 2016 qualifiers against Bosnia and Cyprus and returned unscathed.

But he suffered an injury in training on Wednesday and his condition is being assessed ahead of the Blues’ trip to Merseyside.

Summer signing Asmir Begovic, who recently deputised when Courtois was suspended, is standing by to replace him this weekend.
