Chelsea keeper Cech admits frustration

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has given a clear indication that he will look to leave Chelsea if he continues to be overlooked in favour of Thibaut Courtois.

The 32-year-old, who has made only two appearances this season, told Czech radio he feels frustrated by his lack of first-team action.

“I think Chelsea know me well enough to know that the situation is definitely not the way I would have imagined,” he said.

“With the European Championships in 2016 and the national team in mind, there is no time for me to sit on the bench and not play.

“I have not spoken to anyone, but if the situation does not start to improve for me then I will want to solve it.”

Cech joined Chelsea in 2004 for £7m from French club Rennes and has made 481 appearances for the club.

He is currently on international duty with the Czech Republic, who face Turkey in a European Championship qualifier on Friday.
