Blues prospect trains with England squad

Chelsea youngster Dominic Solanke trained with the England senior squad on Tuesday.

The striker is currently with the England Under-18 squad along with Blues team-mates Tammy Abraham and Jake Clarke-Salter.

But Solanke, 17, was called upon by boss Roy Hodgson, who has had to contend with injuries to a number of players.

Beforehand, Solanke was presented with the England youth player of the year award.

The award was in recognition of Solanke’s role in helping England Under-17s win last year’s European Championships. He was the tournament’s joint top scorer.
