Batshuayi scores twice as Chelsea beat Arsenal in China

Michy Batshauyi scored twice as Chelsea beat Arsenal 3-0 in a pre-season friendly in Beijing.

Willian also scored for the champions, who were much the better side throughout.

The only negative for Chelsea was an injury to Pedro, who went off with a bloodied face during the first half following a nasty collision with Arsenal keeper David Ospina.

Antonio Conte’s side were 2-0 up at half-time after Willian fired in off the post from near the edge of the penalty area and Batshuayi swept the ball home after being found by N’Golo Kante’s pass.

The third goal was a beauty. Cesc Fabregas found Marcos Alonso on the left and the Spaniard beat his man before pulling the ball back for Batshuayi, who finished superbly.

Goalkeeper Willy Caballero was brought on for the second half for his debut following his recent move to Chelsea from Manchester City.
