Fran Kirby scored both goals as Chelsea Ladies beat Manchester City 2-0 in the Women’s FA Cup semi-final.

Emma Hayes’ side, who will face Arsenal in the final at Wembley on 5 May, made perfect start, going ahead after just five minutes when Kirby slotted home following a mistake by City’s Steph Houghton.

Another error, this time by Jen Beattie, led to Kirby scoring her second with 16 minutes remaining.

It leaves the Women’s Super League leaders and Champions League semi-finalists in with a chance of winning the Treble.

A crowd of more than 3,000 saw the game at Kingsmeadow.
