QPR manager JImmy Floyd Hasselbaink believes Jake Bidwell could be sidelined for as long as four months after suffering a dislocated shoulder at Burton.

The Rangers left-back was carried off on a stretcher 10 minutes from the end of the 1-1 draw against Hasselbaink’s former club.

Bidwell, a summer signing from Brentford, will be assessed over the next 24 hours but Hasselbaink fears the worst.

He said: “It’s not good. It’s a dislocated shoulder. If you’re lucky, two months. If you’re not lucky then four months.”

The injury is a blow for Rangers as Jack Robinson remains unavailable.

Joel Lynch replaced Bidwell at left-back at the Pirelli Stadium.

Meanwhile, Hasselbaink insisted his team should have taken all three points and were denied a clear penalty.
