Four players released by Brentford

Brentford have confirmed that out-of-contract full-backs Scott Barron and Shaleum Logan have been released by the club along with striker Farid El Alagui and back-up goalkeeper Liam O’Brien.

Logan, 26, has already agreed a deal to sign for Aberdeen on a permanent basis, having spent the second half of the season on loan with the Scottish side.

El Alagui, signed from Falkirk in 2012, also ended the campaign on loan in Scotland, with Dundee United.

Meanwhile, Brentford have confirmed they have offered striker Clayton Donaldson a new contract.
