Bees duo are passed fit for second leg

Brentford defender Harlee Dean has recovered from a minor injury to be fit for Friday’s Championship play-off semi-final second leg at Middlesbrough, where Chris Long will also be available.

Defender Dean picked up a knock in the first leg and his recovery means manager Mark Warburton has all his players fit and available, including Everton loanee Long, who returned to the club on Monday.

Long recently returned to Merseyside for treatment after suffering a gashed leg.

Warburton, whose side trail 2-1 from the first leg, said: “Harlee had a slight dead leg after the game on Friday.

“He’s come through training this morning with no problems so we have a full squad to choose from.

“Chris is back and available for selection too. We extended the loan knowing we might not have him for the first week or second week, but hopefully at Wembley. He had a weeping wound so Everton had to be careful.”
