Bees beaten by late goal at Leeds

Brentford were beaten by Kyle Bartley’s last-minute goal at Elland Road.

They looked set to earn a point before Bartley headed in from a corner by former Bees midfielder Stuart Dallas.

The visitors started well and Scott Hogan had a goal disallowed in the first half.

But Leeds were more threatening after the interval and Luke Ayling blasted over following Dallas’ corner before Souleymane Doukara shot wide.

Leeds had plenty of possession but Brentford defended well, only to concede late on.

The result means Dean Smith’s side remain 14th in the Championship table.
