Jumah retains perfect record with victory

Deion Jumah maintained his 100% professional record with a fourth-round stoppage of Karel Horejsek on Saturday.

In his first fight since December, the West Londoner made it five wins out of five in the light-heavyweight bout at the Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen.

The 33-year-old Horejsek, from the Czech Republic, has fought three times since Jumah’s last outing, but in the end he proved no match.

Hammersmith-born Jumah, 26, who last year opted to move down from cruiserweight, was twice an ABA champion and is trained by George Grove’ former coach and manager Adam Booth.

He has been hampered by injury and illness during his career, limiting him to just five fights since his first pro bout in February 2013.
