Convincing wins for Smith and Corcoran

Harrow Weald’s super-featherweight prospect Mitchell Smith knocked out Antonio Horvatic in devastating fashion at Bethnal Green’s York Hall.

Smith [pictured] poleaxed his Croatian opponent with a four-punch flurry in the third round, prompting the referee to stop the fight without bothering to count.

The victory extended Smith’s unbeaten record to 11-0 and kept the WBO European champion, 22, on course for a British title shot later this year.

Meanwhile, Wembley welterweight Gary Corcoran also extended his unbeaten record to 11-0, beating Adam Jones on points.
